Full course description

ITRS Pathways Home Navigating the Multigenerational Workplace
Strengthen your teams with a new understanding of the value of a multigenerational perspective.

Sometimes, managing interactions among people in a multigenerational workforce may be challenging, but this 2-hour training can help promote cooperation and understanding in the workplace. This curriculum was developed by the Institute for Trauma & Resilience Studies in FSU's College of Social Work. Professionals will gain crucial strategies and knowledge to promote a cooperative, resilient, and productive workplace. Learners will be able to strengthen connections between people of different generations in the workplace and implement effective communication strategies to establish common ground.

This online, self-paced curriculum includes about two hours of interactive course content featuring evidence-based content, case scenarios, multimedia materials, and a final assessment.

Navigating the Multigenerational Workplace  can be taken independently, or as one of three mandatory courses in the Professional Certification in Resilience Strategies for the Workplace Pathway. Learn more about the Pathway below:
