Full course description

ITRS Pathways Home Resilient Multidisciplinary Teams

Florida State University offers an online curriculum in Resilient Multidisciplinary Teams.

This two-module curriculum was developed by the Institute for Trauma & Resilience Studies in FSU's College of Social Work. In our interconnected, collaborative world, work across disciplines is essential for success. Set yourself and your team up for success by completing our 3-hour course on Resilient Multidisciplinary Teams. Professionals will learn the essential elements of a successful team and crack the code to managing diverse professionals for a cohesive, resilient team.

In Module One, we first explore the essential elements of a healthy organizational culture that can harness the power of its employees and partners. We examine key indicators and strategies for fostering adaptability in dynamic work settings. Additionally, we discuss the pivotal role of leadership in shaping organizational culture and identifying behaviors that create positive work environments. In Module Two, we dive deeply into multidisciplinary teams—those dynamic groups in which professionals from different fields come together to tackle complex issues. This module will equip learners with the knowledge and skills to meet shared goals in a collaborative setting.

This online, self-paced curriculum includes about three hours of interactive course content featuring evidence-based content, case scenarios, multimedia materials, knowledge checks, and a final assessment.
